VERDANT HEART

On a pitch-dark night when no moon or star was seen in the sky, violence came to our world in the form of a meteor formed of starstuff. A bright light tore across our atmosphere, followed by a shattering of earth an instant later. The loss of life seemed catastrophic, and our landscapes changed to an unrecognizable hell in moments.
Asper-Kesh, the great being who dedicated themselves to our planet's existence, wasted no time in bringing us back from the brink of annihilation. They poured themselves into the world that gave them meaning, with no thought to their own well-being. As the land and sky were healed, their strength faded; and with one last breath exhaled, they fell into death-like sleep from which they would never wake, forming the mountain range that surrounds the site where our world almost met its demise.
The world is now mostly silent without Asper-Kesh to intercede on our behalf. We honor them and sustain their legacy by building these frameworks with which to carry stones carved from the heart of the mountains; and on rare occasions, a light pulses through the stone, as if our world, and Asper-Kesh, are reaching out to us once more.
Each design is individually textured and treated with patina, and may vary from piece to piece. All pendants come with a 26" sterling silver chain.
